Cup & Saucer- The Blue Plumbago
Description
A Garden Held in Porcelain
Delicate blue plumbago blossoms trail across a softly fluted ivory cup and its scalloped saucer, turning an everyday ritual into a small garden of its own. Every flower is shaped and applied by hand, giving each piece its own natural rhythm and character.
Made for unhurried mornings, afternoon tea and the quiet pleasure of living with beautiful objects.
Product Story
The Blue Plumbago Cup is made entirely by hand from porcelain. Its gently fluted body opens into a soft, petal-shaped rim, while clusters of sculpted blue flowers wind across the surface on slender green stems.
Each tiny blossom is formed individually before being carefully arranged and attached by hand. Subtle variations in blue give the flowers a sense of depth, from soft periwinkle to deeper cornflower tones.
The matching scalloped saucer continues the floral composition with two delicate branches of blue plumbago, leaving the centre open and functional. A pale wash of powder blue around the porcelain brings the cup and saucer together as one harmonious piece.
Beautiful in use and sculptural at rest, this is tableware made to be noticed, treasured and kept.

The Beauty of Handmade
Every cup is individually made and finished by hand. Small variations in the shape, placement and colour of the flowers are therefore natural and expected.
You may also notice subtle differences in the glaze, rim and surface. These are not imperfections, but traces of the making process that give each piece its individual character. No two cups will be exactly alike.
Care
To protect the delicate sculpted flowers, we recommend washing the cup and saucer by hand with lukewarm water and a soft sponge.
- Handle the piece by the cup body and handle rather than by the flowers
- Avoid abrasive cleaners and hard brushes
- Avoid sudden or extreme changes in temperature
- Do not stack other tableware directly against the porcelain flowers
- Dishwasher and microwave use are not recommended, in order to preserve the hand-applied decoration
