COLOURED BY HAND

The peony’s colour is applied in soft transitions rather than flat blocks. Cool blue rests within the petals, while pale pink and lilac gather gently along their finely shaped edges.

Because the colouring and finishing are completed by hand, every piece will carry its own subtle variations. The exact placement and intensity of the blue and pink tones may differ slightly from one vase to another.

These differences are not imperfections. They are part of the character of a genuinely handcrafted porcelain object.

SCULPTED, PETAL BY PETAL

Every petal, bud, leaf and stem is individually shaped before being carefully assembled onto the vase.

The layered construction gives the peony its remarkable depth. Viewed from the side, the flower projects from the porcelain body like a small botanical sculpture rather than a painted or moulded surface decoration.

THE CHARACTER OF HANDMADE PORCELAIN

Minor variations in flower placement, petal shape, glaze, colour intensity and surface finish are natural results of the handcrafting and firing processes.

You may also notice small artisan traces that distinguish handmade porcelain from machine-produced ceramics. These characteristics make each vase individual and should not be considered faults.

CARE

Always lift and carry the vase by its porcelain body. Never hold it by the sculpted flowers, leaves, stems or neck decoration.

Dust the petals gently with a clean, soft brush. Wipe the body with a soft, slightly damp cloth when necessary.

Do not place the vase in a dishwasher. Avoid abrasive cleaners, prolonged soaking, sudden temperature changes and contact with hard objects.

When arranging flowers, insert and remove stems slowly so that they do not press against the delicate porcelain bud or floral decoration.
